I have the same problem on Gutsy on HP DV2220tx..i have NVIDIA 7200 with proprietary drivers... i had the same issue even on Feisty.... Can somebody let us know what needs to be done to fix it...and by the way the bug is still new and undecided after 1 year....thats not good development.... I hoped that with Gutsy this would be resolved...unfortunately it is not...
