Hello,
I installed updates this morning, using update manager, and a few times later i
discovered in synaptic that there were more updates, all from trusty-updates to
update.
Ex: update-manager updated nautilus, but nautilus-data was still in an
upgradeable state in synaptic with dozens of other packages. This is not the
first time i found in synaptic some packages left not-updated since i installed
v14.04.
