Iain's questions are salient ones; I can't really suggest a design here
without answers to them.
For example, if apps are installed in the system area, we might show
free space in /home/ as "Free space" and free space anywhere else as
"Free for new apps".
If apps are installed in /home/, we might call that space "Free space",
and the free space elsewhere just "Reserved" or something like that.
Please reassign back to me when there are answers.
