Just for the record: KWin doesn't support this combination, either (see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=729769) and our investigation showed that there are lots more window managers not supporting it. In KWin we are not going to add support for this as it cannot be implemented in a way that ensures that the decoration doesn't draw it.
