Public bug reported:

[Impact]
Typing impossible in certain configurations, and keyboard remappings not
respected.

[Test Case]
See upstream reports, use eg. a NoMachine NX remote viewer or try using xmodmap
to remap " or @ characters.

[Regression Potential]
The patch touches keyboard handling code under X.

There are two upstream bugs related to key handling:
https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-32760
https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-31527

Those require libxkbcommon >= 0.4.0 that was uploaded to trusty only a
week before the release, so qtbase upload wasn't possible before
release. The patch has now been used in utopic for two weeks without
seeing regressions on touch or desktop, so SRU would be beneficial since
it affects eg. Qt Creator users.
