Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit is missing the dynamic linker symlink in /lib. This
is causing third-party 64-bit binary applications to fail with a message
"No such file or directory".

Users can solve this by executing
sudo ln -s /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 /lib

but this really should be included by default. It is in other distros.

** Affects: glibc (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
