Laptop version: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Laptop lab: XXXXXXXXXX
Reproduction Steps:
1. Install Ubuntu on laptop with Audio driver-XXXXXX
2. Run test case XXXXXXXXXXX
Result:
No sound recording
Expected result:
Sound should be recorded
Analysis:
1. Try with other laptops with same version+Ubuntu.04.4, same error
2. Try with former version of laptop + Ubuntu 12.04.4, same error
3. Try this laptop + Ubuntu12.04.4+former Audio driver, can work
4. Try this laptop+ Ubuntu 12.04.0 + default Audio driver, same error
Therefore, this bug is introduced in the code change between Audio
driver XXXXXX -- UUUUUUUU
5. Test tool log indicates: the driver can be open correctly, but can not
record sound and there is no crash
6. Code diff between these two versions are:

Looks like function XXXXXXX can not work.
Note:

2. The ENV is available till 05-15, which can be accessed by: 10.XX.XX.Xx,
