Question.. The powernv-cpufreq module is not automatically loaded by the kernel (even if put in the initramfs).
Would it be possible to have it built-in (rather than as a module) in some time? As discussed on Ubuntu's kernel-team mailing list, it fails gracefully on non-compatible hardware (and even on compatible hardware with older, development firmware versions w/out that support, if that happens on your tests) Thanks -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1309576 Title: powerpc: Missing Turbo mode To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1309576/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
