Public bug reported: With the version of xserver-xorg-core in Trusty, the file /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-quirks.conf includes "quirks" for the Evoluent Mouse that go against what users were used to, what is recommended by the manufacturer and what is configured in other Operating Systems.
The change has already been reverted in Fedora: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=612140 And has also been reported in Debian: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=739537 Please remove the Evoluent stanza from the file. This is a regression in the previous and expected behavior, and as such, the fix should be backported to Trusty.
