Public bug reported:
I was renaming a file. It had a dash in it, and I have noted before that Nemo
sometimes stops echoing characters received during a rename, possibly due to
the dash (but not sure). I clicked outside the box to see what characters had
really been received and set, then re-selected rename from the context menu
again, to correct the file name. I think I deleted the dash, and perhaps made
some other change (added and/or deleted some characters), and then noted that
nemo was not responding. Shortly thereafter, it disappeared. At about the
same time, Lubuntu 14.04 reported an internal error - I do not know if that is
related or not...
That's all I know.
