There is no BIOS update. I am using the latest BIOS update, as provided through Samsung's SW Update software (P09ABE). In fact, the New Zealand Samsung support website doesn't even list any BIOS update and most of their software downloads are only available for Windows XP, which this laptop never came with. It is a Windows 8 only machine.
I am trialling the 3.14.1-031401-lowlatency kernel from mainline and now the wireless mouse not being recognised bug is back! Clearly, Samsung are making no effort to support their machines with linux. What information could they provide that would allow developers to fix these issues. I can't afford a new machine and I am not keen on dropping back to 13.04 to get a linux distro that works without problems. Failing that I only have Windows 8.1. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1320554 Title: [Samsung NP350E5C-A02AU] Suspend hang with blank screen on lid open To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1320554/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
