After weeks of being unable to track down the problem it seems to have disappeared for me. Since it was not reproducable and the load was not connected to any task I can only guess if it's been fixed by a regular update or if it's related to my deinstallation of the "virtualbox" package, although virtualbox was never run while the problem occured.
Unscientific Conclusion: If you have weird load problems as of 14.04 and the virtualbox package installed: Try if deinstalling helps. I'm sorry I can't add anything more substantial to this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1313275 Title: relogin fails with black screen, Xorg high load To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1313275/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
