I don't think this is a Compiz problem, but is probably a problem in
Mesa which is incorrectly selecting the software renderer as the display
driver. When this happens, the CPU is used exclusively for all OpenGL
calls which makes Compiz use a great amount of CPU. Nothing we can do
about that.
As such, going to dup this to bug #1268146.
