Hello Alex This happens on start-up from cold Xorg is very slow to give any screen at all coupled with; Wallch is set to load at start-up; it does and when pressing the start button the timer starts but no wall papers appear or change out. Also at start-up the login field is very slow to appear making me think that there is some kind of conflict or hang going on. New screenshot from today's start-up attached.
