We are having this issue on multiple Dell PE 12g servers. It seems to specifically be an issue if there are two quad port NICs installed (the last NIC shows up as "rename8"). If the second NIC is disabled or it is a single NIC system, this problem doesn't manifest itself. We have Intel I350s as provisioned by Dell.
