mterry, I don't have the scrollback handy, but the upower dump that you provided in irc showed that upower actually /was/ reporting three batteries, so indicator-power is passing that along.
Maybe we could put some heuristics into indicator-power for guessing when multiple upower devices are actually the same device, but that runs the risk of new bugs folding genuine devices together too. IMO this would be better handled at the upower level. ** Package changed: indicator-power (Ubuntu) => upower (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: upower (Ubuntu) Assignee: Ted Gould (ted) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1321777 Title: Split greeter shows three batteries entries on manta To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/upower/+bug/1321777/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
