I'm running mint 16 cinnamon on x64.
I installed sbackup because apparently the mint-backup tool is buggy.
I've use sbackup before under ubuntu 13.10 without problems.
I configured my non-root user backup, and pressed "make a backup now". I
got a message about seeing progress in the notification area but none
has appeared. I can see the backup process running in system monitor and
it succeeds, but I can't see what it's doing or how far it's got. It's a
gzip backup to another local disk.
