i did some additional testing, so here we go. flash-nonfree: xorg needs 60-65% cpu, firefox 25%.
swfdec: xorg needs 70-75% cpu, firefox 15-20%. gnash: doesent do anything after installation. i visited some sites that use flash content, but gnash wouldnt do anything with it... so no results. with totem, there is no problem at all. watching a movie trailer on apple.com gives 10 -15% cpu for totem plugin, 7-10% for xorg. i measured this with 'top'. if theres a better way to do this, please let me know, i'm glad to help any further! - ulrich -- better handling of flash animations when compiz is enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135048 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
