Public bug reported: After surfing the web in firefox for a while, I observed that ibus- daemon was occupying a surprisingly large amount of memory (smem reports its unique set size [USS] as 107 MiB). This is much higher than the usage observed shortly after login (about 1.3 MiB USS).
Not sure yet if there's anything in particular needed to trigger this.
