I am experiencing an almost identical problem with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, 64 bit with preferred system language English (United States), regional format German and keyboard layout German.
When using the auto type feature instead of the @ character the ⅛ character is printed. When using the feature to copy the user name or password to the clipboard everything is fine. KeepassX worked fine for me in 12.04 LTS. The problem occured after installation (not upgrade) of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I found other people with the same problem and also proposed solutions but I would prefer an Ubuntu-intrinsic fix. Proposal to run "setxkbmap de" after login: http://sourceforge.net/p/keepassx/bugs/269/ Proposal to remove all keyboard layouts except one: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/247104 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1244402 Title: Autotype changes the @ character after upgrade to saucy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/keepassx/+bug/1244402/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
