Is this issue still current? Can you show a terminal session where 'mpc
-p 1234' works but 'MPD_PORT=1234 mpc' does not?
As MPD_PORT is read by libmpdclient, I'm reassigning this bug. What is
the version of libmpdclient2 installed?
