Not at all. The issue is that evolution is opening lots of small files on the local hard disk (not via NFS - I'm running an NFS server, not client), which resource starves the NFS server running on the same box. I highly doubt this problem is isolated to evolution, but since it's the application that exposes the (kernel/driver?) bug, it seemed the correct application to open the issue against. Apologies if this is incorrect. Just want to make it clear that I do know what I'm talking about here - just may not be making things clear :)
