Sayantan Das, as a potential WORKAROUND, would using either nouveau, or
a different version of the nvidia drivers as noted in
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/Nvidia change
anything?
As well, did this problem not occur in a release prior to Trusty?
