I want to enter legitimation data for a manual proxy configuration
(synaptic - settings - network - manual proxy configuration -
legitimation). The corresponding entry box appears, but it is greyed and
doesn't allow any entries.
Because I have to use this proxy mechanism, it's not possible to update
Mint or add software (software center uses the settings from synaptic,
as far as I can see)
