Ralf: No! This bug was about the system being locked up when AIGLX was being used on NVIDIA drivers. The applet crashing is nowhere near as severe as this and is a separate issue (as the fact it happens on hardware different to that in this bug will attest). Please change this bug back and unset the duplicates.
