usb_modeswitch has done all it should do , switched the dongle from initial mode (cd-rom only) to modem mode ( usb id 12d1:1506 ). The syslog clearly indicates a NetworkManager error so the bug report should go there and mot be filed as a usb_modeswitch bug. usb_modeswitch is not the NetworkManager!
