Hi Teo. I would like to make some additional comments to this particular bug report:
1. Your problem 3) indicates, that render results are discarded due to insufficient cache. The amount of (prefetched or not) rendered content that is cached by qpdfview depends on the cache size, which is adjustable via the options. 2. Tiled (partial) rendering of pages is currently in development and will probably be featured in the upcoming release 0.4.11. To use the newest release version of qpdfview you can use the ppa https://launchpad.net/~b-eltzner/+archive/qpdfview and if you feel courageous enough to run the current development branch for testing, you can use the ppa https://code.launchpad.net/~adamreichold/+recipe/qpdfview-dailydeb 3. Please note that qpdfview is mostly developed by a single developer on his spare time. This bug report reads rather unnecessarily rude, which, in my opinion, helps nobody. While generally any feedback is appreciated, a less moody-witty formulation would certainly score you some goodwill points. ** Also affects: qpdfview Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: qpdfview (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Benjamin Eltzner (b-eltzner) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1331689 Title: Completely unusable with large heavy documents To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/qpdfview/+bug/1331689/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
