I guess you missed my comment #7 because we wrote almost at the same time. I personally wouldn't merge the two issues; this one is a purely UI one, and it's much smaller than i thought (the advanced settings _can_ be changed, it's just the most counterintuitive UI ever) and entirely belongs to Qt itself, I guess.
