I beg to differ: The control panel says something like "Put to sleep
when inactive for:", and it doesn't explicitly refer to the X session
being inactive.

Moreover, this behaviour seems to imply that the machine is being used
as a single-user workstation, because putting a multi-user/multi-task OS
to sleep just because the mouse and keyboard happen to be inactive is
quite counterintuitive, at least to me.
