btw, this is not a Thunar bug. In the box where it asks what package this bug affects, I wrote, 'software-updater'. But Launchpad took it as a Thunar bug all the same. Probably because I was on the page of another Thunar bug when I selected 'report-bug'. I suspect it's also a Grub bug.
