Public bug reported: It seems that after applying some custom settings of color correction or controls to a screen (GPU > CRT/etc), a relogin would clear up those settings.
I've found a tip where removing the hostname prefix from these settings would make nvidia-settings correctly load up the configuration file. It's here: http://askubuntu.com/a/416845/9330 And, well, it sounds like a bug, since I don't think we should need to manually fix the config file and load it manually during boot time, right? :) ** Affects: nvidia-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1333510 Title: Device custom settings are not correctly reloaded after login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-settings/+bug/1333510/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
