I discovered a solution which worked for me. It is from this youtube video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgFoWmeFqaI .
All you have to do is :
1- Install PulseAudio Volume Control from Ubuntu Software Center
2- Open it and select Configuration tab
3- Switch the paired Bluetooth device's Profile from Off to A2DP
At the moment, it seems you may have to repeat steps 2 and 3 every time you
connect the bluetooth device or open a music app.
