I tested this on mainline kernel 3.14.1

It seems to be working perfectly.

Now, I want to know that by when, if any, update to that version of kernel will 
be provided as stable official version? 
Because as far as I understand, using kernel like this is not safe enough, As I 
am not an Ubuntu Developer and I don't want to run into more major problems!
