I mirror Mike's question. As far as I can understand, I'm on the 7
firmware and fully updated as of today July 2nd. Yet I've had about 12
disconnects today, two of which took place as I read through this
lengthy bug report.

jason@JSXPS:~$ dmesg | grep "iwlwifi .* loaded firmware version"
[ 4.427618] iwlwifi 0000:02:00.0: loaded firmware version 22.1.7.0 op_mode
iwlmvm

jason@JSXPS:~$ uname -r
3.13.0-30-generic

Running a one month old Dell XPS 13 with Ubuntu 14.04.

Was this fixed and released and I somehow missed it via Software
Updater?
