I'm on image version 108 now. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Testing
advises to use "adb shell powerd-cli display on bright" to turn on the
screen and keep it on, but this stopped working recently. It has worked
fine for a long time, so this smells like a recent regression.
It now acts as if I hadn't called the command at all, i. e. the screen
doesn't turnon, it dims after a minute and eventually switches off
completely.
