Public bug reported:
release: Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS
Few weeks ago my system was updated to the new kernel version 3.2.0-64 and
inmediately my 3.0usb port of my asus k53sv laptop breaks.
I'm so sure that it is a bug of the kernel because if I restart my computer
with the older kernel version(3.2.0-63) the port work's perfectly well.
Anyway my system recognizes that the port exists and if I connect something to
the port the command lususb recognizes it, but still not working.
Recently I update my system to the 3.2.0-65 kernel version but the problem
still there.
This is my 3.0 usb controller:
04:00.0 USB controller: ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1042 SuperSpeed USB Host
Controller
Thank you for your support.
