Public bug reported:

I'm a long time twinkle user under Fedora, who has just moved to Ubuntu
with 14.04

Anyway, it simply doesn't work. If I have no $HOME/.twinkle directory,
and run it from a shell, it gives errors about there being no config and
hangs. If I touch the $HOME/.twinkle/twinkle.cfg file, then seems to be
defaulting to some autodiscover mode - writing debugging to STDOUT - but
no GUI shows up

Running "ldd /usr/bin/twinkle" doesn't show any X-windows/QT related
libraries I'd expect. I suspect this is simply totally broken?

BTW, I originally had my Fedora $HOME/.twinkle/ directory (with my SIP
accounts/etc). twinkle gives no errors but again no GUI shows up
