I'm running the 3.13.0-30-55 kernel on a 1525 laptop and unfortunately this problem still exists. Suspend always works, resume works maybe 80% of the time. It's the wife's laptop so it's high visibility. ;-) I can give more info if given specific instructions, thanks.
