This seems similar to bug 1202159 where it would crash on reconnecting even if you hadn't started a transfer.
** Description changed: - Nautilus crashed when attempting to open samba share. It would appear to - be one-off'ish as I was able to make/break connections at the client - successively without this problem occurring. + [Impact] + Disconnecting a server during a transfer causes nautilus to crash when reconnecting to that server. - Just had this happen again, and all my desktop icons disappeared. I have - to restart to recover the desktop icons. + [Test Case] + 1. Open a nautilus window + 2. In sidebar, click "Connect to Network" + 3. Enter network address "ftp://ftp.debian.org/" + 4. Click connect in both dialogs + 5. Start a file transfer + 6. While the transfer is occurring press eject button beside ftp.debian.org entry that appears in sidebar + 7. In sidebar, click "Connect to Network" + 8. Enter network address "ftp://ftp.debian.org/" + 9. Click connect in both dialogs - ProblemType: Crash - DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 - Package: nautilus 1:3.10.1-0ubuntu9.1 - ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.13.0-29.53-generic 3.13.11.2 - Uname: Linux 3.13.0-29-generic x86_64 - ApportVersion: 2.14.1-0ubuntu3.2 - Architecture: amd64 - CurrentDesktop: Unity - Date: Tue Jun 24 03:46:45 2014 - ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/nautilus - ExecutableTimestamp: 1399910242 - GsettingsChanges: b'org.gnome.nautilus.list-view' b'default-column-order' b"['name', 'size', 'type', 'date_modified', 'date_accessed', 'owner', 'group', 'permissions', 'mime_type', 'where']" - InstallationDate: Installed on 2014-06-21 (2 days ago) - InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS "Trusty Tahr" - Release amd64 (20140417) - ProcCmdline: nautilus -n - ProcCwd: /home/moniker - ProcEnviron: - LANGUAGE=en_US - PATH=(custom, no user) - XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> - LANG=en_US.UTF-8 - SHELL=/bin/bash - Signal: 6 - SourcePackage: nautilus - StacktraceTop: - g_assertion_message () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libglib-2.0.so.0 - g_assertion_message_expr () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libglib-2.0.so.0 - ??
