To mcguire: I haven't been updating this bug report as my circumstances have changed, but I'll just chip in with my thoughts.
The mount options you specify (specifically cruid) look like they are there specifically to solve the issue, and they most definitely were not around for the Maverick release of mount.cifs when I filed this report. To my eyes it looks like quite inelegant, not least because sudo passes all the relevant information for mount.cifs to use in the first place so it shouldn't be needed at all, but if it works, then who am I to complain? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/676525 Title: mount.cifs cannot mount with kerberos To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cifs-utils/+bug/676525/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
