came across this and it appears that the fedora guys have rolled in a
patch recently that resolved the issue.  I'm unable to locate the
upstream defect for this, but their defect (which is essentially
identical to this one) is here:

Is there a link to the upsteam kernel defect to see if this has been
resolved?
