Using Linux mint 17 xfce based on ubuntu 14.04 This bug appeared on my system after attempting to fix a suspend session. Normally screensaver can be unlocked with a password but somehow my system froze.
Decided to view help Pressed Ctrl +Alt+ F1 Then type in the username and password Then typed in help A list of commands where displayed but no guidance or info about grub errors This prompted me to reboot the system Typed in sudo reboot After the operating system rebooted, noticed the error malformed file. Press any key to continue. Searched the internet for a solution.
