Or even better:

kill -USR2 "$(cat $(< /etc/php5/fpm/php-fpm.conf sed -ne 's/^pid =
\(.*\)/\1/p'))"

Just make sure the "pid =" is not commented out in /etc/phpt/fpm/php-
fpm.conf...
