I was building Octave 3.8.1 and there is some problem with dkms. The problem is
in guest-additions-iso.
On lenovo X60 ubuntu 12.04 xfce4
now reports guest-additions is latest version on apt-get.
Maybe Ok.
will update bug when I get a little further along.
