I just checked and we don't seem to have sosreport in the cloud image for trusty at http://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/trusty/current/trusty-server-cloudimg-amd64.manifest
I suspect that is because we were too late, and the seeds were not updated after the change went in at revision 2257 at https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-core-dev/ubuntu-seeds/ubuntu.trusty . I just pushed the change to utopic in revision 2266 at https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-core-dev/ubuntu-seeds/ubuntu.utopic . So, we should see the package appear in utopic images sometime shortly. And then we should investigate what it would take to get it into the seed in trusty.
