Hi,
I'm running a just-updated Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon, and I wanted to enable EXA on
my Radeon Mobility U1 card to see if I could have some performance improvements
with Compiz.
I just added Option "AccelMethod" "EXA" without any other option in the xorg
configuration file.
Everything starts without any problem, but as soon as I enabled Compiz in the
Appearance window (Normal Effects), X crashes and GDM is restarted.
The issue arises only when Compiz is enabled, since GDM works properly,
and when it was disabled GNOME would run correctly.
Another thing I saw is that screensavers flicker when looking at them in
the Screensaver window. Same thing in full-screen. For that I am
reopening bug #34584.
I attach the log of Xorg when it crashes.
