Felix - have you tried the /etc/hosts file solution. It seems to have
solved this for many people. It has solved this for me.

The start of your /etc/hosts file should look like this:

127.0.0.1 localhost pcname
127.0.1.1 pcname

If it looks like:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 pcname

then manually edit it to look like the former (where pcname = the name of your 
pc). 
Attach your hosts file if your unsure.
