Hello Robert, I appended the kernel boot parameters|i8042.notimeout i8042.nomux |as recommended inhttps://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=148115. That left the problem that after sleep modus, the touchpad doesn't work any more. I will try to append furthermore the parameter i8042.reset what I found recommended for an older Fujitsu-Siemens Laptop _http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Archiv/Fujitsu-Siemens_Lifebook_S-6120_ .
