This looks similar to other issues we're seeing with this card, where the firmware reports beacon loss which ultimately leads to disconnection. Here's a couple of things to try while I dig deeper into the data.
First, install the kernel from http://people.canonical.com/~sforshee/lp1349572/linux-3.13.0-32.57+lp1349572/ and see if this improves your situation at all. Let me know your results. Second, try the kernel at http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel- ppa/mainline/v3.16-utopic/ (you should only need the linux- image-3.16.0-031600-generic_3.16.0-031600.201408031935_amd64.deb package).
