Can you provide a complete cups error_log as described here:

Since Ubuntu 13.04 is no longer supported I would suggest to try it in Ubuntu
14.04.1LTS or higher with the default hpcups driver for this printer, you can
try without installing by using a ubuntu-desktop live cd.
